On Saturday 11th May Pub Invest Group Area Manager Mike Edwards and John Hughes of the Liverpool nightlife CIC abseiled down the Radio City Tower. The pair where there to raise money to support Radio City Cash for Kids Superhero Day, so they can make a real difference to the lives of local children and young people.
Everything raised in Merseyside stays in our area, with a focus on alleviating poverty, supporting disability and improving quality of life.
John said ” It was the scariest moment of my life, but what a feeling when we reached the bottom. Halfway down the Radio City Tower I waved to my family and fired a few webs across town in my Spiderman costume. Once on the ground and looking up it hit home just how high the station really is.”
There is still time to make a contribution for this great cause with links below.
