Tom Halls Tavern on the Strand in Liverpool is now in possession of its very own Travel  Bus. The 80 plus capacity red double decker Volvo bus will be on site at Tom Halls for all Liverpool and Everton home games in the league and all cups  starting from the Derby this weekend. From this Sunday 10th Dec, as Liverpool take on Everton at Anfield at 2.15 for this first Derby of the season.

The popular sports bar is already a go to place on match days for those watching the match in the venue and those calling in pre and post game. So the team at Tom Halls Tavern are now laying on free travel to and from both Anfield and Goodison for patrons who call in for a pre match beer. A ticket will be handed over pre game to those in the venue who have a breakfast or a round of drinks and the bus will then make several shuttle runs to the ground pre match dropping off at a designated point before returning post match at the same point several times to collect fans and bring them back to Tom Halls, in the centre of downtown Liverpool.

A spokesperson for the venue said “ As we are in the heart of the business district we get a lot of city centre residents as well as international travellers staying in hotels and serviced apartments in town coming in before all the games. We are constantly asked what is the best way to get to the game, from where and what time to leave. We decided over the summer to invest in a Tom Halls Travel Bus. This way we can stick likeminded fans, both red or blue ( both on Derby days ) and take them to the game in comfort with some special football themed extras taking place on board.”

The team behind the transformation of the Strand building  on the corner of Brunswick Street and the Strand, which currently contains Meet restaurant, the recently opened Bentley and sports bar Tom Halls Tavern, will have more information on the travel bus available here https://www.facebook.com/tomhallstavern/
