Opulence is a new designer furniture retail brand which has opened its first store in Cavern Walks. Packed with ultra modern simplistic lines to Ornate French Shabby Chic, Opulence is aiming to become Liverpool’s leading furniture outlet. Opulence also stocks a mix of timeless art, ceramics and lifestyle accessories. Sourcing products from all over the world they thrive to offer their customers something a little different. Opulence offer their own interior design service and will project manage every aspect from initial free consultation to installation and dressing, leaving you to get on with more important matters. The launch event was attended by local dress maker Mark Melia and ex Liverpool and England footballer Jimmy Melia, to name a few.

Embracing the strap-line “op·u·lence; noun – great wealth or luxuriousness”, Opulence will appeal to all those with an interest in the golden age of furniture with a mix of today’s cutting edge design influences.

“There has been a sharp increase in the popularity of bespoke furniture over the last few years and Opulence will serve to be a retail hub for those interested in one off pieces to reflect their personality. Liverpool’s renaissance as both a commercial and retail destination was a central facet in our decision to launch our flagship Opulence store and we are looking forward to a long and happy relationship in the city.”

It has been virtually impossible not to have noticed the increasing desire for exclusive furniture. From celebrity homes in the pages of Elle Decoration Magazine, classic pieces such as the handcrafted Louis Philippe Velvet and Silver bed to ultra modern one off Lam-BAR-Ghini .

Cavern walks is the home of luxury independent shopping in the city and for this reason it was perfect when the opportunity arose to open our first store here, home to iconic brands such as Vivienne Westwood and Cricket which fits Opulence as a brand perfectly within the Cavern Walks Shopping Centre. This is the first furniture store ever opened in the centre and although people don’t expect such a store in Cavern Walks the unique style and exclusive range is making an early impression on shoppers to the centre.

Opulence now brings this world to life in the heart of Liverpool…..
