Sid Vance is a well known face on the property scene in Liverpool. With over 20 years in the business he has worked for some of the biggest names in the industry such as Venmores and David Wilson Homes. Earlier last year, 2017, Sid decided it was time to branch out on his own after years of clients saying how he should go alone.
Sid Vance & Co opened at a satellite site on Picton Road last year before finally finding their ideal location in January this year, 2018, at 171 Rose Lane in leafy Mossley Hill – Liverpool. The office now has 6 full time staff as well as several part time. The agency specialises in sales, lettings and, commercial deals.
Managing Director of Sid Vance & Co – Sid Vance commented “Setting up my own agency has always been something I have wanted to do. It was all about the right time and location. Last year the time was right and our new premises on Rose Lane are perfect for us. This is central to where the majority of our stock is based and is a lovely part of the city to do business from. We could not have hoped for a better start with us taking on several new developments in the city as well as being asked to manage several existing sites such as Tobacco Warehouse and Bispham House in the city centre. Our medium term plan is to expand to the Wirral, City Centre Liverpool and eventually to Cheshire.”
Sid has called on his extensive list of property developers in the North West and is currently in talks to look after the sales and lettings for some key new sites in areas such as the Baltic and Sefton Park. One area that has proven to be a success is the commercial side of business. Sid added “Over many years in the industry I have met hundreds of developers. With the current resurgence of Liverpool many London, Manchester and obviously Liverpool based developers are on the phone to us on a daily basis looking for that next project in Liverpool. We are currently in the middle of several commercial deals and this is a side I am looking to expand.”
