From touring across the globe to releasing chart topping hits, Charles Thomas is no stranger to the house music scene. His electrifying DJ performances have been seen by many in some of the world’s most respected festivals and clubs. After achieving this notable success over the last half decade, he now sets his sights on his new solo venture – KYSSA. With releases lined up on some of the most exciting labels in dance music, his sound is already turning heads from artists and fans alike.
As his first release as KYSSA has just hit the ground running, in the form of his debut solo track All Talk, Charles is just beginning his journey of producing music on one of the most respected labels in dance music. His previous releases under the PAX umbrella have amassed over 80 million streams and have earned major awards including Best Selling Beatport Artist. Having participated in multiple global tours taking in the most noted clubs and festivals, Charles has taken the major step of walking away from PAX, which has been such a vital part of not just his professional career but also his personal space.
Charles Thomas, ex-PAX, now reborn as KYSSA explains: “Leaving behind PAX was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. It was such an important part of my life for five years and I will never forget the memories we shared.
However, my career is ever-evolving and my new solo project as KYSSA is enabling me to take all of that professional experience I have enjoyed across every medium, into this new solo spectrum.
As my debut release under KYSSA, I wanted this track to encapsulate the type of sound I’ll be pushing from here on out. It is truly a transition from the old to the new, echoing the past but moving to fresh, exciting heights. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of this one and I couldn’t think of a better home for it than Realm Records. Now that the track has dropped, I have already received positive and encouraging feedback.
I may be a solo project artist now but I still get to work with talented and accomplished people, and the music I produce isn’t just for me alone – it has to connect with the listener. It really is fantastic to enjoy the support of both my contemporaries as well as fans.
