Pub Invest Group Confirmed as Entertainment Partner for the Corporate Games 2016

Liverpool’s Pub Invest Group has been announced as entertainment partner for the Europe Corporate Games, which are due to take place in the city between 23rd-26th June 2016. As partner, the popular city centre bars and restaurants that make up the group will become the official entertainment venues for the event, which will attract thousands of business people to the city.

The Corporate Games describes itself as the world’s largest multi-sport festival for businesses and organisations. An international team building event like no other, the games will see representatives from organisations of all sizes participate in sports as diverse as netball, ultimate frisbee and orienteering. Around 7,000 people will descend on the city in June to take part.

Representatives from many of the larger, blue chip teams, including ASDA, Ernst and Young and Virgin Trains have already toured the Pub Invest Group venues, which include some of Liverpool’s best loved nightspots. A number of private functions have been scheduled to take place and the doors to all ten venues will be open throughout the weekend, for budding athletes to drop in and benefit from a range of offers and hospitality packages.

Pub Invest Group venues include McCooleys, SOHO, Level, Black Rabbit, Brooklyn Mixer, Peacock, Fusion, Blind Tiger, Smokey Moe’s and Rubber Soul. Between them they span the breadth of the city centre and provide offerings so diverse that even locals could be forgiven for not having realised they are all part of the game group. However, they are indeed sister venues and the level of differentiation means that there will be something on offer to suit the taste of every Corporate Games team member, when they are looking for a way to wind down between sports.

Hannah Smithies, Marketing Manager at Pub Invest Group said:

“Pub Invest Group is thrilled to be the official entertainment partner of the Corporate Games 2016. It is fantastic for our city that such a prestigious, international event has chosen Liverpool as its host city for the second time. With a packed programme of 24 sports, as well as lots of opportunities for networking between events, the Games will mean a very busy weekend indeed for thousands of participants. We’re pleased to say that when the teams need some down time we will be there for them.

“There aren’t many hospitality groups in the city with our capacity. McCooleys alone is 12,000 square feet and we have an additional nine venues besides, many of which will be showing the weekend’s Euro 2016 matches that weekend, as well as catering for the private team events that are starting to come in. It’s going to be great fun and a brilliant opportunity to showcase Liverpool, in all its summertime glory! We look forward to being involved.”
