A huge Northern Soul festival is set to kick off Liverpool’s premium new events space at Bramley-Moore Dock this summer.
The ‘Northern Soul All Festival’ will take over The Bramley Social on Saturday July 25th, with a massive line up of legends from the music genre that’s filled dancefloors across the region for decades.
Authentic 10-piece band The Signatures will headline, with Lorraine Silver joining them in a rare opportunity to see one of the original queens of soul live.
Also appearing is Angelo Starr & The Edwin Starr Band, keeping the faith and bringing that classic soul sound to Liverpool.
Manning the decks will be some of the scene’s finest selectors with DJs Neil Rushton and Simon Hunt playing iconic Motown tracks from the ‘60s and ‘70s, supported by Sean Taylor and Alex Vanlee.
It’s the first event at The Bramley Social, created on the old Terry’s Timber site next to Hill Dickinson Stadium, outside of football and a sign of things to come.
The warehouse venue has offered Everton fans a prime hospitality experience on matchdays with DJ sets and live bands before and after kick-off, since opening its doors in October last year, 2026.
There are various bars serving local ales, craft beers and cocktails, together with a rotating lineup of street-food vendors including The Lids & Co and The Bus Yard.
The Bramley Social is licensed until 11pm on matchdays and selected bank holidays – but it’s not just when the Toffees are playing that it will open its doors.
“This stunning space will be open throughout the week – and the year – for entertainment, fun and food outside of football,” says Ryan Dillon, The Bramley Social Events Manager.
Officially launching it, the ‘Northern Soul All Festival’ will run from 1pm to 11pm, with music and food inside the vast warehouse and in pop-up bars and entertainment spaces outside.
“People will be able to get food, sip a margherita from a cocktail station, and enjoy the amazing music we’ll have on offer,” says Ryan.
“I hadn’t realised just how big the Northern Soul scene still is until I realised we had a 100+waiting list before tickets even went on sale, so this is going to sell out fast.
“It’s going to be a full-on day, celebrating the legendary music, with an amazing atmosphere – and a textured dance floor that’s just perfect for all that fast-paced footwork, and classic spins, flips, and kicks!
We are so excited to welcome Northern Soulers to the city and introduce people to Liverpool’s new, premier events space, and to be part of bringing this once-derelict area of the city back to life. This is just the start of a catalogue of events and festivals taking place at the site across the summer period and beyond.”
