Fresh off the successful relaunch of nearby venue The George, the local hospitality team continues its major investment into Crosby’s night-time economy.
Popular Irish-inspired venue Murphy’s Tavern has announced a major site expansion in Crosby Village, introducing an authentic new space known as “The Snug,” set to open its doors this October.
The addition of The Snug marks the next phase of growth for Murphy’s Tavern, located on Moor Lane. Designed to reflect the warm, intimate corners of traditional Irish pubs, the new dedicated section will offer guests a relaxed, cozy atmosphere—ideal for quiet pints, smaller gatherings, and catching up with friends away from the main sports and live entertainment floor.
This expansion represents another significant vote of confidence in Crosby Village by the independent team behind the venture. It follows their recent successful transformation and opening of The George, reaffirming the team’s ongoing commitment to investing in the local high street and building a vibrant social hub for the community.
