Now that the football season is underway, the team behind a new apart-hotel are preparing to greet guests in search of quality, nearby accommodation, and a great afternoon and evening out! Breckfield Apart-Hotel, just a short walk away from the city’s famous Anfield Stadium, home of Liverpool Football Club, is located above the area’s famous Turpins Pub. The pub has a reputation for being welcoming and friendly, and is a port of call on the way to matchday and evening occasions. Aceforce acquired the site in 2020, and have added to it to their leisure portfolio, which already includes 19 Rodney Street Apartments and Antisocial Bar based in Hope Street.

The team, who undertook renovations on 19 Rodney Street in the Georgian Quarter six years ago have also recently added the Belvedere Apart-Hotel on Mount Pleasant to their stable, which enjoyed a successful launch in Autumn 2022. They have used this expertise to bring their talents to bring the Breckfield site to his high specification standards.

This freshly-launched apart-hotel is re-opening after an almost 50-year break, and the 2023 version came about due to the demand for accommodation close to Anfield, which is easily accessible and also close to some of the city’s major leisure and cultural sites. This LFC-themed apart-hotel offers a range of accommodation that offers variety as well as comfort and modern amenities including:

On the first floor:

Room 1 – Rome 77 – sleeps 6

Room 2 – Wembley 78 – sleeps 10

Room 3 – Rome 81 – sleeps 8

Room 4 – Room 84 – sleeps 6

On the second floor:

Room 5 – Istanbul 05 – sleeps 7

Room 6 – Madrid 19 – sleeps 4

Room 7 is going to dedicated to the next big win and sleeps 6

All rooms come equipped with flat screen TV, free wifi, comfortable beds, en-suite bathroom, and suit all demographics, including groups and families. On-site free parking provides for a convenient stay, so that guests can attend games with ease. Visitors can also enjoy live music below in Turpins every Friday and Saturday, and from November 2023 food will be available on-site.

Lillian Stevens of Breckfield Apart-Hotel explains: “I have worked in and around Anfield in hospitality and the licensed trade for most of my career, and that means I am bringing a host of experience to this apart-hotel.

We know that more and more guests want to attend match days with somewhere convenient, and affordable to stay, and so the team have been determined to provide high-quality accommodation that meets their needs.

Being located above the famous Turpins is a bonus – it means that guests can call in before, or after, a game – or both! With its own dedicated menu, it also means that our clients can enjoy a fantastic meal and refreshments on-site.

Guests can then spend time exploring our wonderful city as they so wish. With such an accessible location, they can travel to the city centre in minutes, which is a huge draw. So many visitors who visit the city for football also want to take in the sights and sounds we have to offer here, including Liverpool One, the Albert Dock, the Beatles Museum as well as taking in other local legendary places such as Sefton Park and Lark Lane. Being so close to the city centre means we are also a great place to stay for guests who are in the area for music events, gigs and concerts.

It is really important for us to create an affordable location for guests, whilst ensuring their needs are catered to. And for those who want a rest after an exciting day, our rooms are fully soundproofed.

We look forward to welcoming our guests during what looks to be an exciting and busy season ahead.”
