April is always a busy time in Liverpool’s social and nightlife calendar, and this year comes a date for music lovers in the arrival of two of the UK’s best rock tribute acts: The Killerz and Kazabian. They will be sharing a double bill at The Dome at Grand Central in the city’s Renshaw Street on Friday 12th April 2024, when the region will already be buzzing with race attendees for the Randox Grand National at Aintree weekend.
The Killerz are an award-winning line-up, having bagged a National Tribute Music Award in recognition of their talents. A huge draw on the live festival scene, they provide not only the music, but also the lighting, backdrops and signature confetti of their favourite Las Vegas recording heroes. Kazabian are the official and No. 1 Kasabian Tribute band. Also festival veterans, they provide an authentic and stageworthy experience in honour of the Brit Award-winning act from Leicester.
Both bands are arriving in Liverpool fresh from the nation’s largest and most prestigious festivals, Wannassee. This will be the first time on a double bill for both acts in the city famous for its own musical legacy, and The Dome at Grand Central will play host to this must-see gig. This iconic venue, which has been given an entirely contemporary glow-up to ensure it can accommodate capacity crowds in comfort, has already established its own reputation in the industry as the destination to create the most electric ambience for gig attendees.
