Harrison’s Pub returns for 2026 With a Fresh New Look

One of Liverpool City Centre’s best-loved local venues, Harrison’s Pub, is set to reopen on Friday 30th January 2026 following an extensive refurbishment.

Since opening in March 2019, Harrison’s Pub has become a firm favourite with office workers, tourists, football fans and shoppers alike — offering a welcoming escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Renowned for its friendly staff, great food, wide range of draught beers, live sport, and live music, the venue has now been thoughtfully restored to celebrate its heritage while enhancing comfort and atmosphere.

Nicola Halton, Head of Business Development at Harrison’s Pub, said:

“We have done some research into the history of the venue and spoken to several of  our regulars and decided to strip the venue back to the pub it once was many years ago. It was fascinating to uncover some of the original features during the refurbishment process and now we have completed phase 1 the site is looking very similar to what it did back in the 1980’s”

Harrisons Pub has been a watering hole for many years and is set in a stunning Grade 2 building on the corner of Victoria Street and North John Street in Liverpool City Centre. Previously called the Beaconsfield, Cains and for a short time the Three Sisters, before being taken over by its current owners in 2019.

Nicola continues “ Phase 2 will take place over the summer when the  original ceiling that had been hidden by a false ceiling will be stripped back and renovated. The new look feels much warmer and more welcoming, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming back our regulars as well as new future friends to Harrison’s Pub.”

Harrisons Pub will reopen again from Friday 30th January.
