In just four years, Liverpool-based Advantage Investment has already established itself with two offices and 18 dedicated staff, which also operates in Marbella, and with an upcoming Dubai office in its considerable sights. Founders Adam Wood and his business partner, Tom Eastaway, lead a team which is currently celebrating bringing in over £200 million of property investment to the city, adding to Liverpool city region’s flourishing property landscape.
Advantage Investment’s core enterprise has allowed investors to access a range of luxury properties in highly desirable locations including the sold-out Vaux development in Naylor Street, which features 62 apartments, and is due for completion Q3 2025. Other notable projects include Sovereign Point in Oriel Street, close to the Albert Docks World Heritage Site, which is a combination of studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments as well as the hugely affordable Camden House site, a studio-based development with students in mind. These make up just part of Advantage Investment’s portfolio, which are helping to address critical demand and supply challenges across the city.
Liverpool city region has continued to be an attractive prospect for inbound property investment. Its domestic property values have continued to grow considerably during 2023, by up to 14%, after a bumper period up until 2022, outstripping Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and London, with that figure set to rise to 20% by 2026. This reflects the overall economic growth of the region as a whole, which has been boosted by continued resurgence in hospitality and leisure, as well as £5.5 billion investment to transform the city’s iconic docks. A growing population coupled with a still-affordable housing market has made 2023 the perfect time to attract investment.
