Kingdom on Harrington Street in the commercial district of Liverpool City Centre celebrates later this month being 11 years old. Since opening at the end of 2007 the venue has held some of the biggest nights in the city. With guests ranging from the Spice Girls and Steven Gerrard to Scott Dissick.
Having gone through several changes over the past few years the venue now houses the Veuve Clicquot Champagne lounge as its VIP room at the back of the club. The main room has also now turned into a Moroccan themed setting. Always evolving with the times the team at Kingdom have now put together a 11th birthday bash to remember. American gospel, disco and dance legend Jocelyn Brown will be performing a 30 minute set of her hits including “I Believe” , “Keep on Jumpin” and of course “Somebody else’s Guy.” Jocelyn Brown is known across the globe with her immensely power-packed and impassioned voice on many disco and dance classics.
Kingdom Bar Manager Kerry Hughes said “As well as booking this huge PA with Jocelyn Brown we have also teamed up with several of the top cities brands to give the ultimate girls night out for 4 lucky winners. We have teamed up with Say it with Diamonds, Girl Gang, Impact Chauffeurs, Posh Pads and also Veuve Clicquot. Winners will be picked up on Saturday 26th September and chauffeur driven to Girl Gang for an afternoon of pampering . Its then back in the car to head to Cavern Walks to all collect a specially designed necklace each from Say it with Diamonds. A short drive across the city then to be dropped off at the Penthouse of Posh Pads on Hanover Street. When the girls are then ready they will be driven to the venue on Harrington Street to be escorted straight in to their VIP table with a bar tab of £500 and Verve Clicquot waiting for them. After having the best seats in the house ( we cant see these winners staying seated for very long ) to watch Jocelyn Brown take the roof off the club the winners will then be taken back to Posh Pads at the end of the night in their chauffeur driven car. A night to remember with a total value of over £2000.”
