Goodness Grill Serves up Healthy Take-Away for Merseyside

Goodness Grill & Juice Bar has brought a healthy option to Liverpool’s take-away food market. Meals, shakes and juices from Goodness Grill are nutritionally balanced, made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and are proving to be a big hit with athletes and health conscious consumers on both sides of the River Mersey.

When we think ‘take-away food’ we think ‘greasy and unhealthy’, yet the health conscious, time poor market is bigger than ever. Conveniently based on Vauxhall Road, on the outskirts of Liverpool city centre, Goodness Grill regularly welcomes commuters in search of a healthy meal on their way home from the office, gym users who need to source a nutritious meal as well as delivering to the neighbouring community and city centre. Goodness Grill offers a large variety from healthy meals, shakes and snacks, to meticulously weighed meals to compliment training goals. Serving up restaurant quality, freshly prepared whole foods every day, Goodness Grill specialises in helping customers to achieve and maintain their optimum weight, whether they’re a professional athlete, a fitness fanatic or just simply want to feel healthier and happier from the inside out.

The restaurant boasts some hugely experienced chefs, each bringing careers that have spanned over a decade in top class establishments. For the owner, Goodness Grill is a true passion project. Last year Liam and his team took the plunge and opened one of the first healthy take-away restaurants that Liverpool had been looking for.

Liam said:

“We’ve been overwhelmed by the response. I knew there was a market for nutritionally balanced food from a takeaway but the range of our customer base is so encouraging. We’re catering for people who simply don’t have the time to prepare their own meals on a day to day basis, people are vegetarian, gluten free, wanting to lose weight, gain weight and more because there just isn’t anywhere else in the area offering what we offer. We have been working in conjunction with the nutritionists and personal trainers from Spartan Dynamic in Wavertree which means we can provide a truly professional service that helps people reach whatever goals they come to us with.”

Goodness Grill also supports local sport in another way, by sponsoring current EBU Bantamweight boxing champion Ryan Farrag, Four Times ABA national Champion, two times tri-nation & Team GB International Boxer Thomas Hart, Three times ABA national champion & Team England International Boxer Daniel Stringer, also other professional boxers including Dayle Gallagher & Jay Carney. In addition, Goodness Grill sponsors MMA fighters Jay Moogan & Michael Bowman, Liverpool county premier league football team Custy’s FC & Boxing Club Lee Jones ABC.

Liam also added;

“As a sports fan myself it’s a real honour for us to be feeding, as well as sponsoring, some fantastic local athletes and sportsmen, hearing about the benefits they are experiencing as a result of their tailored diets we provide. Particularly for boxers, the drastic change of diet needed before a fight can have some debilitating effects. We are able to ease them into their preparation diet more gently and ensure that they head into events feeling stronger and more prepared than ever.”

Seven months into the business Goodness Grill is growing from strength to strength, have now updated the restaurant quality menu which now includes a mouth-watering range of healthy desserts and juices. Goodness Grill are also about to launch their own mobile phone app which will be available on the app store to allow customers to order on the go. Delivery is also available in Liverpool City Centre and surrounding areas.
