Those working in the Central Business District may have noticed a new addition to the scene over the past month as The Exchange Barbering Company opened. Nestled in between the Vincent and Fazenda restaurants they offer the highest standards in the barbering industry and based in the historic Exchange Flags, this traditional barber brings a much needed touch of barbering excellence to the office crowd. Partners Mark Foster and Tony Manning bring with them a combined 35+years worth of experience in the male grooming industry.

Commenting on the new opening Mark said “Tony and I have been looking for the right unit space in the city centre for a few years now. We wanted to be in the heart of the business sector and when Exchange Flags became available we knew it felt right and fitted our needs. We previously had a site together in Maghull called the Bear & Blade but being in Liverpool city centre was the main aim.”

Tony added “The style of the barbers is something we both wanted to get right to fit what the Exchange Barbering Company is all about. We have gone for a real traditional look with chesterfield seating, dark wood panelling and even our hair products partner Dear fits into that style. The response has been amazing and especially now with facial hair being in fashion we get a lot of men in for beard trims.”
