Billed as “Diego’s little sister,” the new multi-floor venue from the team behind Diego’s Demise will feature live music, free jukebox tunes, and late-night American comfort food.

Following the runaway success of Diego’s Demise, which made waves across Liverpool’s nightlife scene after launching in late 2024, the team behind the popular dive bar has announced its newest venture: DeeDee’s Den & Dive.

The new venue will open on 12th September and is set to take over part of the Black Rabbit Shot Co site on Wood Street in Liverpool city centre. Billed as a haven for music lovers and late-night revellers, DeeDee’s will feature live music spanning country, classic rock, rock ‘n’ roll, and big singalong floor-fillers, alongside a free jukebox and an extensive menu of flavoured whiskies.

The venue will span two floors, beginning with a phased opening in mid-September. The upstairs ‘Den’ will open its doors first, serving up American pancakes and bacon butties, with the basement ‘Dive’ set to follow shortly after. Licensed until late, DeeDee’s will also showcase emerging local talent, with management currently scouting local solo acts, duos, and trios across the region.

Adam Coffey, Operations Manager for DeeDee’s Den & Dive Bar, said:

“After seeing the incredible response to Diego’s Demise, we knew Liverpool was ready for the next chapter in the story. DeeDee’s is all about great music, incredible atmosphere, and proper late-night hospitality. Whether you’re stopping by for great tunes, a stack of pancakes, or a late-night flavoured whisky, DeeDee’s is going to bring a fantastic, welcoming vibe to Fleet Street.”
