Starting for the month of December you can drink, eat and be merry in one of 12 winter igloos situated at the “Liberte Rooftop Winter Village.” Located on the Strand in the Liverpool business district with fantastic views across to the Liverpool Unesco World Heritage Waterfront.
Open until the end of December there will be festive winter market stalls as well as Christmas movie classics shown ranging from Home Alone to Elf for all the family to enjoy on a large projector screen.
Each winter igloo sits around 8-10 people and will be open until 9pm. The winter village coincides with the launch of the Liberte restaurant one floor down from the rooftop so food and drink , pan asian themed, can be enjoyed while sipping a baileys. The Bentley Building on the junction of the Strand and Brunswick St, currently houses Meet restaurant, Tom Halls Tavern, Liverpool Comedy Club, Liberte and now the amazing rooftop.
General Manager of Liberte , Jonathan Ryder, said “We are really excited to bring the “Liberte Rooftop Winter Village” to the city this Christmas. We feel it will combine a fantastic festive offering for all the family in one of the cities best locations for views of our world famous waterfront.”
The rooftop is open for the whole of the month of December and is reached via lift access.
