A new football themed venue called Jurgens Bierhaus had its offical opening on Friday 15th November with Liverpool F.C. legend Ronnie Whelan in attendance. The venue is situated on the famous Strand in the city centre facing the 3 Graces ( Port of Liverpool, Cunard and Liver Building ).

The venue has 2 bars. The “Klopp” main bar and stage area and the “Boot Room” which seats 120 customers and is to be used for private events. Local in demand artist Paul Curtis was commissioned to create 2 main feature walls. First is a huge Jurgen Klopp portrait which faces customers as they enter the site. The second is a Hillsborough tribute wall.

The venue has signed shirts and boots form players past and present across all walls and the menu plays homage to some of the greats. Pizzas such as The King Kenny, The Macca and The God which is beer soaked hot dog, American cheese, crispy onions, mustard and ketchup.

The site will see food and drink served from 11am until midnight Monday through to Thursday with a 12.30am bar on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Boot Room is also available for private and corporate bookings.
